Market Survey: BABY FOOD I - Filth Analysis

Various types of Baby Food were analyzed for filth. Crackers, Meat, and Vegetables were analyzed for insect and rodent hair contamination. Juice was analyzed for mold caused by rotten fruit or moldy equipment. (Note: A second survey testing baby food for mold can be found at Baby Food II.)

Four companies are represented. No statistical significance is claimed.

Opinion:
The above results only represent a snapshot of the extraneous matter levels in the market. That being said the products tested showed a very high quality of care in the selection of raw materials and process controls.
