The purpose of this section is to stimulate an interest and concern (when needed)
to the filth contained in our foods. Most is unavoidable, that is, natural. However;
when food processors do not test their ingredients or finish products and good sanitation
is not followed, problems may occur in the food we buy. The U.S. Government has levels for
filth that are allowable. These are called Defect Action Levels (DAL's). Specifications
can be found at www.FDA.gov.
